Former Kenkichi Nakamura Residence
Kenkichi Nakamura contributed greatly to the tanka genre of Japanese poetry as a pioneering contemporary poet and leader of the Araragi school. He retreated to the slopes of Mt. Senkoji amid the tranquility of Onomichi for health reasons on December 25, 1933. His death on May 5, 1934, at the age of 46, was mourned by many.Entry into the building is not allowed.
